Safely Isolate and Localise Hydrostatic Testing

TEAM’s tools have a minimum standard rating of 25 psi back pressure. Once welding has completed, the same tool used for the isolation can then be repositioned to centre the annular testing cavity on the new weld, which provides a mechanism to perform a localised hydrostatic weld test on the new weld. Tool sizes can accommodate pipes ranging from 0.5′′ to 120′′ and test pressures up to 5,000 psi.

In addition to our internal isolation and weld testing tools, TEAM also provides external hydrostatic nozzle testing; no longer does a vessel need to be completely filled with water to perform a traditional hydro test on nozzle additions. TEAM’s nozzle testers allow for additions to be tested externally in a safe and cost-efficient manner with a minimal amount of water. This approach can save time and money from a shut down schedule by allowing other craft to work simultaneously inside of the vessel while testing is completed.

A traditional low-voltage method of heat treating.

The traditional low-voltage Electrical Resistance method of heat treating uses ceramic blankets stepped down to 80 volts to provide a quick and convenient approach to many jobs, particularly preheat and PWHT. Most electrical resistance heat treating is performed either with the TEAM 6-way control console or the TEAM 18-way mobile rig.

Quicker heating, faster set-up and tear-down with the safety of cool coils.

TEAM’s induction heating systems use a coil wrapped around the object to create an electromagnetic field that generates heat within the object. These systems provide quicker heating, faster set-up and tear-down, the safety of cool coils, efficient power consumption and narrowly focused heat. They are ideal for line thaws and preheats, expansion/shrink fitting, bolt stretching, nut heating and PWHT for single large components.

Easy to implement responsive cascade control to the furnace.

Most heat treatment processes require accurate control of the material temperature. With the advent of fast-acting combustion burners and burner control systems, it is easy to implement very responsive cascade control to the furnace.

TEAM burners are specifically designed to deliver the amount of heat required, commonly from 1 to 10 million BTUs (nozzle size from 2 to 8 inches, 51 to 203 mm). We also have burners that will deliver an astonishing 100 million BTUs. In addition to multiple safety interlocks and redundancies, these systems feature a turn-down ratio of 100:1, which allows our technicians to vary heat output from candle intensity to full blast in increments as small as 1°F/hour. Output from 20HP blowers varies from 500 CFH to 168,000 CFH to ensure that heat is distributed evenly regardless of a vessel’s geometry.

You need it. We can build it.

Our capacity capabilities range from simple mass production set-ups to large-scale complex machining projects. This enables us to respond in a timely manner to even our clients’ most challenging and demanding needs. From concept to engineering and from prototype to running the final production, TEAM provides a single source solution to resolve your engineering and manufacturing machining needs.

Proven solutions through unrivalled expertise in pressure safety systems.

Our solutions cover all major safety valve brands and support our customers through an inventory of spare parts and loose-assembled valves. In addition, our facilities are audited and governed by the National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors. Testing, repair, and assembly are performed under licence and guidelines of NBIC, and ASME Section I and VIII.

To ensure accurate in-line setpoint verification, TEAM Valve Solutions utilises Trevitest, the pioneering system for validating safety valve performance in Conventional and Nuclear Power plants, as well as in other industrial process facilities.

Protecting processes and equipment through life-cycle management of critical isolation and control valves.

All industrial facilities depend heavily on the reliable isolation and accurate control of process flows. Comprehensive valve maintenance programmes are an essential element in guaranteeing plant safety, optimising performance, and extending the life of critical process equipment. The Oil, Gas, Chemical and Power markets provide some of the most challenging valve operating conditions, and present opportunities to manage carbon footprint through the reduction and monitoring of valve emissions.

Enable the Efficient Tracking and Management of the Entire Installed Base of Valves in Any Facility or Group of Facilities

The innovative, cloud-based system of our Digital Valve Management Solutions (DVMS) provide real-time monitoring of installed and in-stock assets. Customer access through a web portal provides comprehensive records of locations, valve information, maintenance and testing history, and test reports.

DVMS allows all TEAM Valve Solutions facilities — fixed and mobile — to operate on a consolidated platform, which provides consistent and repeatable service anywhere in the world. This platform provides central monitoring of key projects and allows us to project subject matter expertise on a global scale when required.
